Having interned at Ventura College’s athletic training department, he has experience with athletes’ treatment / recovery protocols, on-field care, and sports performance.
After undergoing an ACL reconstruction and dealing with his own rehabilitation, Edgar knows the importance of proper training and programming.
Edgar recently completed an intensive sports performance internship with Phil Daru at Daru Strong Performance in Boca Raton and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. He has experience training children, youth, high school, collegiate and professional athletes such as UFC and Pro MMA fighters, Pro boxers, Bareknuckle fighters, as well as Team USA Olympic athletes.
Coach Edgar has made the east coast his new home and is excited to share his knowledge, skill set and experience, Coach Edgar is available for individual and group training, youth and adults.

the fitness industry such as world renowned coach Phil Daru. Kaelan had undergone the Daru Strong Internship back in March of 2020 and has been a Daru Strong Coach since June 2020.
Having been a dual sport athlete majority of his life, Kaelan’s main areas of focus were both Wrestling and Track/Field. Kaelan was a 2 year varsity starter for both Wrestling & Track/Field while earning high accolades such as: (Team Captain, FHSAA State Qualifier, and Broward County Wrestling Honorable Mention).
Kaelan earned the opportunity to compete at the college level (JuCo, D1, and NAIA) for 5 years on multiple Wrestling scholarships while aspiring to other accolades: (5-Year Varsity Starter, 4-year Team Captain, 2x Cowboy Open Qualifier, Academic All-American).
While in college, Kaelan worked as an athletic trainer (AT) for his fellow college athletes for 2 years at Northeastern Junior College in Colorado inclusive to being an intern for the Keiser University Strength and Conditioning program for 1 year. Upon his time, he has worked with several collegiate teams such as: Football, Basketball, Baseball, Wrestling, Soccer, Swimming, Cross-Country, Track/Field, Golf, Tennis, and many more.
Having graduated from Keiser University with Honors in Health & Human Performance, Kaelan looks to incorporate strength training and Wrestling to not only high-class professional athletes, but also to younger athletes of all sports and backgrounds.
Kaelan has had extensive experience in training professional MMA fighters, Olympians, professional Boxers, College Wrestlers, Powerlifters, Football and Baseball players. Kaelan also offers volunteer coaching to the Blanche Ely High School Football Team down in Pompano Beach, Florida to assist In introductory to strength training.

Edgar, Evy and Kaelan now offer private strength and conditioning training at Vaughn Sports Academy. Hour-long classes Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 5 PM and 6 PM, except on Christmas and New Years. Space is limited. Lessons are for kids primarily ages 7-18. Order online below.
