Hassan Pena is a Cuban professional baseball player. He played in Cuba for the Metropolitanos and Industriales. In 2006, he was drafted by the Washington Nationals where he played a two-year run in AAA, two years in AA, and  four years between high A and rookie league. Hassan went on to play one year with the Kansas City Royal at the AA level. Pena also played one year in the Taiwan professional baseball league. He participated in the winter leagues for two two years in Puerto Rico, one year in Mexico and six years in Venezuela, where he holds a 23-record for most games saved in a season in Venezuela’s professional league.  Hassan Pena is a foreign-born player of that same league holding the record with 86 games saved in history.
