My son and I visited the Academy with a team from Australia and New Zealand this week and the entire staff welcomed us. They took time to show us around the facility and even shared some of their expertise with the kids. Mike Easler is the “Yoda of hitting” and as we watched his lessons it was hard to tell who was having more fun. The passion of baseball lives inside the Academy and pulsates inside its instructors. One of our players had a bum leg and he was even given an ice pack by “Big Horse”. It was refreshing beyond words to see hitting being taught without an approach that tries to defy gravity by swinging up at baseballs. See you all again down the road.
